I have been experiencing website problems here. I am not too concerned because I make no money off of this site, but it may be a problem with Hostgator.com and in that case some of my other sites are affected.
I can’t access FTP from here (which may be a network issue). Periodically the website is very very slow. I can’t connect to the Hostgator cPanel page.
These issues might be due to my workplace network blocking non-standard IP addresses.
It might be a Denial of Service (DOS) attack, which is way cool. That means that my anti-spam plugins are having an effect. It is stupid to attack me here, because the only place to get the anti-spam stuff is from WordPress.org. I only get 50 or so regular readers here, so a DOS is stupid. They are going to great lengths to block 50 or so users, and they don’t really accomplish anything.
